LEVELS played an instrumental role in shaping KATA, working closely with award-winning chef Marwan Sardouk from the initial F+B concept and brand identity down to the tableware specifications, uniform design, and collateral pieces. The collaboration extended to procuring the famous street artist Wong Ting Fund (aka TF) from Hong Kong to develop a tailored mural, adding an Asian twist to the restaurant’s ambiance.

The menu at KATA, designed by Chef Sardouk, reflects his admiration for Japanese culture and the cult of healthy lifestyles. Rich textures and natural flavours are translated into a bold and creative menu, offering a unique gastronomic journey.

The restaurant’s design, a collaboration with XBD Collective and CKP Hospitality Consultants, complements the culinary experience. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of The Dubai Fountain from KATA’s expansive outdoor terrace at Waterfront Promenade. Indoors, the open kitchen and raw bar serving fresh seafood and sushi provide a captivating view of culinary craftsmanship.
